About the Role

Best Point Education & Behavioral Health is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to oversee and support behavior systems within a school-based setting. This role partners closely with school leadership, teachers, and support staff to ensure the successful implementation of evidence-based behavior strategies for students with IEPs. The BCBA plays a key role in developing behavior plans, supporting staff, and using data to drive student success and continuous improvement.

Pay & Benefits
  • Pay range: $58,000 - $62,000 depending on experience
  • Follows a school schedule – summers off

Qualifications
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in applied behavior analysis or related field
  • Experience working with children with behavioral, communication, or developmental challenges

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities
Training & Consultation
  • Provide coaching and consultation to teachers, education aides, and behavioral staff on ABA practices and behavior plan implementation
  • Support leadership in developing and implementing school-wide positive behavior support systems
  • Train staff on Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and crisis management strategies
  • Consult on individual student behavior strategies and plan modifications
Quality Assurance & Program Effectiveness
  • Lead development and implementation of FBAs and BIPs
  • Ensure consistent data collection and progress monitoring for behavior supports
  • Analyze behavioral data and provide recommendations to improve student outcomes
Collaboration
  • Partner with principals and program leadership to align behavior systems with academic programming
  • Collaborate with staff, families, and external partners on behavior planning and support
  • Participate in leadership team meetings and student support discussions
Administrative Responsibilities
  • Maintain tracking systems for behavior plans, strategy sheets, and progress monitoring
  • Document consultations, feedback, and training activities
  • Ensure timely completion of documentation and compliance requirements
  • Support billing processes for services, as applicable
  • Help standardize behavior support practices across programs
Work Environment

Exposed to a combination of office, school, and mental health treatment environments. Exposed to children with behavior problems. May be exposed to shouting and clients who may be verbally and physically aggressive. May be exposed to blood or vomit and bodily fluids.

Physical Demands

The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 pounds. Must be capable of sustained exertion and be able to participate in the physical restraint techniques and exercises required to ensure safety of clients at all times.
