Job description

Sign‑On Bonus & Compensation

$2000 sign‑on bonus available. Pay: $36 to $48 per hour for a full‑time W‑2 position. Benefits include major medical, vision, dental, supplemental insurance, unemployment insurance, workers’ compensation, and Medicare taxes. PTO and 6 paid holidays are provided. Retirement plan: 100% match on the first 3% of compensation.

BCBA‑owned, BHCOE accredited organization. School‑based behavior consultation focuses on skill development and challenging behavior reduction to improve student success. Services are delivered in‑school, at home, and in community settings to enhance social, academic, vocational, functional skills, and communication. The mission is to partner with individuals with autism spectrum disorder, caregivers, community support staff, and school teams to develop necessary skills. The vision is to provide inclusive settings and greater autonomy for students with autism spectrum disorder throughout East Central Indiana.

Job Summary

The Behavior Analyst conducts behavior identification assessments and develops behavior plans under BCBA supervision. Responsibilities include ensuring effective implementation of all treatment plans and programming, supervising RBTs, providing training, and collaborating with school and community partners.

Work Day

Approximately 30–40 hours per week of ABA therapy implementation services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive Functional Skills Assessments, Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA), and develop Skill Acquisition Plans (SAP) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) with caregivers, school staff, administrators, and other service providers.
  • Develop consultation relationships with district special and general education service providers.
  • Train, direct, and monitor caregivers and/or teachers and staff working with students with behavioral challenges.
  • Support and promote fidelity of evidence‑based intervention strategies and programs.
  • Conduct observations of students in various settings.
  • Analyze student behavior from a functional perspective, identify deficits, and develop plans to teach replacement behaviors.
  • Provide evidence‑based behavior strategy recommendations and train caregivers, staff, and administrators in implementation.
  • Develop data collection methods and train staff and caregivers to use them.
  • Use collected data to monitor current levels and adjust strategies or treatment plans.
  • Supervise RBTs to support treatment fidelity, provide training, and maintain credentialing.
  • Collaborate with service providers and agencies within schools and communities to address student needs effectively.
  • Research and promote evidence‑based behavior analytic strategies, approaches, resources, and curriculum.
  • Provide positive behavior support presentations, training, and professional development.
  • Participate in meetings such as IEP, 504, MTSS, staff meetings, and determination meetings.
  • Engage in professional learning activities related to research‑based behavioral interventions and other relevant opportunities.
  • Communicate with parents about students’ behavior needs.
  • Track and document required information for insurance reimbursement.
  • Ethically maintain HIPAA requirements and professional records.
Education & Experience
  • Master’s degree in Special Education, Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience providing behavioral support services in natural settings.
  • BCBA certification.
Licenses & Certifications
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year experience as a BCBA.
Additional Requirements
  • Drug screen and criminal background check required for hire.
Direct Supervisor

The BCBA reports directly to the Clinical Director.
