Job description

Summary

Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) role to conduct behavior assessments, develop behavior plans, implement ABA therapy, supervise RBTs, and collaborate with BCBA and other stakeholders in school, center, home, or community settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct direct and indirect skill identification assessments and functional behavior assessments.
  • Develop evidence‑based treatment and behavior support plans based on assessment results.
  • Implement plans under BCBA supervision and provide direct instruction, supervision, and training to clients, staff, and families.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate plan efficacy and make data‑based decisions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation (assessments, treatment plans, session notes, data analyses) and generate required reports.
  • Attend treatment team meetings, case conferences, insurance authorization calls, and BCBA supervision meetings.
  • Assist with RBT supervision and training as needed.
  • Manage caseload and initiate services for new clients promptly.
  • Remain compliant with professional and legal standards of behavior analysis.
  • Engage in continuous feedback and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, or related field.
  • Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) certification.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a school setting with students having behavior challenges, including autism and other developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge of ABA principles and data‑driven decision making.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree specifically in ABA.
  • At least one year experience as a BCaBA.
Additional Requirements
  • CPR and first‑aid certification.
  • Pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
Supervisor

Reports directly to the Regional BCBA.

Physical Requirements
  • Perform tasks such as wall, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Engage in cognitive tasks: compare, analyze, communicate, copy, coordinate, instruct, compute, synthesize, evaluate, negotiate.
  • Maintain clear vision at 20 inches or less and at 20 feet or more; adjust focus.
  • Tolerate moderate to loud noise levels.
Compensation

Full‑time (30‑40 hours per week). Salary range: $29.40‑$37.40 per hour. Sign‑on bonus: $1,500 available. Benefits include major medical, vision, dental, supplemental insurance, U‑IN, workers’ compensation, Social Security, Medicare, PTO (9.6 hours per 150 hours worked), 5 paid holidays, 100% retirement match on first 3% compensation.
