Job summary

AllerVie Health in Towson, MD is seeking a Board Certified Allergist to join our Greater Baltimore practice. The physician will provide comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and management services for allergic and immunologic disorders in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Allergy & Immunology.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
• Fellowship training in Allergy & Immunology required.
• DEA registration or completion of DEA Waiver.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Prior outpatient allergy and immunology care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with allergic and immunologic conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans including pharmacologic therapies and immunotherapy.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as skin testing and pulmonary function tests.
• Provide patient education and counseling regarding disease management.
• Collaborate with nurses, PAs, and administrative teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain EMR documentation and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Lead clinical protocol development and mentor other providers.
• Engage in community outreach and patient engagement activities.
