Job summary

The City of Port St. Lucie is seeking a BMX - Program Support Technician to ensure the safe usage of the Adaptive BMX track and staff the registration office during operating hours.

The role enforces rules, supports events, and delivers customer service to riders and the public. Qualifications include a high school diploma, 2 years in skate park or related settings, 3 years computer experience, and 1 year of customer service.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent is required.
• Two years of related skate park/action sports experience preferred.
• At least three years computer experience and strong organizational skills are essential.
• One year of customer service experience is required.
• CPR/AED certification to be obtained within 6 months from date of hire.
• USA BMX Coaching certification to be obtained within one year from date of hire.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license; ability to obtain Florida license within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe use of the BMX track and enforce facility rules.
• Staff the registration office during operating hours and handle payments.
• Operate registration systems (MotoMaker, RecTrac) and generate reports.
• Assist with programming, events, and daily maintenance of the facility.
• Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the track and surrounding areas.
