Job summary

BMW of Anchorage is seeking an experienced automotive technician for our Anchorage service department. The role involves performing routine maintenance, multi-point inspections, brake and suspension services, and PDIs, while documenting work and maintaining safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in automotive service, BMW/MINI experience, and relevant technical training. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits accompany a strong team environment in Alaska.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of automotive technician experience.
• BMW/MINI experience preferred.
• Automotive technical training or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair services.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and diagnostics.
• Complete brake, suspension, and fluid services.
• Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDIs).
• Accurately document repairs and services performed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow BMW/MINI repair procedures and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with service advisors and technicians.
• Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner.
• Maintain an organized workspace and complete stall cleaning daily.
• Document work performed on repair orders and test procedures/results.

Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per Flat Rate Hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 6:00pm

What You’ll Do

• Perform routine maintenance and repair services
• Conduct multi‑point inspections and diagnostics

• Perform pre‑delivery inspections (PDIs)

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Maintain an organized and clean workspace, completing a stall cleaning every day.
• Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.

What You’ll Bring
