Job summary

SSM Health, in partnership with SLUCare, seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to lead the Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Team. This 75% clinical / 25% administrative role delivers cellular therapy and transplant care, with four 10-hour shifts weekly and weekend/holiday rotation.

Leadership experience in hematology/oncology is required, plus Missouri NP/PA licensure. The team performs bone marrow biopsies and stem cell transplants in a high-acuity setting.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for patients with malignant hematologic conditions.
• Documented leadership or management experience within hematology/oncology.
• Experience with cellular therapy.
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current Missouri NP/RN or PA licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical leadership to the assigned team and manages daily workflow.
• Promotes recruitment, onboarding, retention and ongoing education of team members.
• Leads scheduling and staffing for the APP group and addresses coverage gaps.
• Collaborates with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to plan care and interventions.
• Performs procedures and supports telemedicine/telehealth as applicable.
