Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System seeks a BMT QAPI Coordinator to oversee review and approval of standard operating procedures for the Bone Marrow Transplant Program. You will work with the BMT Program Manager to attain FACT accreditation, develop transplant plans, and drive quality improvement initiatives.

You will perform audits, analyze outcomes, and collaborate across departments to ensure compliance with Joint Commission, FACT, AABB, and FDA requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; BMTCN certification preferred.
• BMTCN and ONCC certifications referenced; RN license required by Florida.
• 3 years of healthcare quality/outcomes experience; marrow/stem cell transplant knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of records and reports for inspections.
• Audit quality metrics quarterly and report findings to leadership.
• Identify trends, deviations and outline actions to improve outcomes.
• Develop and implement best practice guidelines and protocols with BMT physicians and staff.
• Ensure electronic medical records support quality and best practices.
