Job summary

Kansas Health System is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for the Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Hematology/Oncology team at Westwood Medical Pavilion in Westwood, KS. The role supports acute and specialty care, coordinating care with a collaborating physician under a CP A.

The position requires APRN or PA qualifications, state licenses, and BLS certification. Prior BMT or Heme/Onc experience is preferred; part-time schedule available.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in PA or APRN required.
• Current KS/MO license as applicable for practice locations.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manage care of patients undergoing bone marrow transplantation and related therapies.
• Evaluate medical problems and request specialty consultations as needed.
• Educate patients and families about treatments and medications.
• Create diagnostically appropriate treatment plans and document outcomes.
• Prescribe and monitor medications; monitor emergency interventions when needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and maintain quality/process improvement.
