Job summary

Michigan Medicine seeks an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join the Bone Marrow/Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy services. The role includes inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, complex patient management, and participation in clinical trials.

You will perform procedures, coordinate care, and educate staff, patients, and families within a multidisciplinary team. Requirements include NP/PA credentials with BMT experience, Michigan licensure, DEA, and BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Requires specialty certification as Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP.
• 4 years inpatient BMT APP experience in a similar setting within the past 6 years.
• Licensed RN in Michigan; NP program graduate; NCSBN certification; DEA registration; BLS & ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and manage adult patients with hematologic disorders in BMT/CT and related programs.
• Rotate between inpatient BMT/CT and Outpatient Migration Program.
• Perform procedures such as bone marrow biopsy and lumbar puncture.
• Review labs/imaging and coordinate with the team; educate patients and families.
• Participate in clinical trials and assist with consent.
• Facilitate transition of care between inpatient and outpatient settings.
