The University of Michigan's Michigan Medicine is seeking an Advanced Practice Professional (NP or PA) for the Adult Inpatient Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy and the Outpatient Migration Program. The 1.0 FTE role rotates between inpatient BMT/CT and outpatient migration, providing comprehensive care within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Current specialty certification to practice as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Michigan.
• Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner recognized by the NCSBN.
• Current DEA registration.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 1–2 years of acutely ill patient management at APP level.
• BMT APP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rotate between Adult Inpatient BMT/CT and Outpatient Migration Program.
• Provide care and management of adults with hematologic disorders under physician oversight.
• Perform exams, order/perform treatments per guidelines, admit/discharge, educate patients and staff.
• Manage complications including sepsis, GVHD, CRS, ICANS, and cytopenias.
• Perform procedures such as bone marrow biopsy/aspiration, lumbar puncture, and skin biopsies.
• Contribute to clinical trials and transition of care between inpatient and outpatient settings.
