Job summary

The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute seeks an Associate Nurse Manager to support the Nursing Department in the Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) unit. This role assists in leading a care team, ensuring patient-centered care, and fostering a collaborative environment with a focus on safety and quality.

The ANM works under the Nurse Manager to advance professional nursing practice.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate nursing degree is required.
• Current Ohio RN license is required.
• Two years of clinical experience in patient care is required.
• Certification in nursing administration or area of clinical expertise, or eligibility to obtain it within the timeline.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Nurse Manager in leading a team of care providers and promote a healthy work environment.
• Plan, organize, direct and evaluate patient care operations on a 24-hour basis.
• Coach, guide and evaluate the work performance of patient care staff in a designated area.
• Collaborate with other patient care departments to support patient care operations and services.
