Job summary

Metro Building Services in Bolton, MS is seeking a skilled BMS Technician to join our team. You will install, retrofit, and service building automation systems for our commercial customers, bringing strong technical expertise and a customer-first mindset.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience with BMS/BAS, HVAC controls, and the ability to troubleshoot sensors, actuators, and controllers. Proficiency with BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks is preferred, along with reading drawings and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with BMS/BAS or related field.
• Working knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment and control systems.
• Experience troubleshooting building automation sensors, actuators, controllers, wiring, and networks.
• Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks protocols.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams and control schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, retrofit, and service building automation systems for commercial customers.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues across sensors, actuators, controllers, and networking.
• Interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, control schematics, and system documentation.
• Collaborate with technicians, project managers, and other trades.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
