Job summary

Aligned Data Centers seeks a seasoned BMS Telemetry Engineer to lead data center BMS integrations, cloud connections, and PLC/SCADA design. You will translate customer requirements into robust BMS solutions, drive design reviews, and establish standard policies across projects.

The role emphasizes handling Rockwell PLC platforms, Ignition SCADA, and cloud-based data repositories, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in BMS integration, data center technologies, and cloud technologies.
• Extensive knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, MQTT, and REST API.
• Proficiency in MS Azure and AWS.
• Experience with Rockwell Automation PLC platforms (Studio 5000, CompactLogix, ControlLogix).
• Experience with Ignition SCADA (Vision and/or Perspective) or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of control system design and PLC/BMS/SCADA integration.
• Proven experience translating requirements into executable control logic and user interfaces.
• Excellent communication and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination of customer requirements for BMS data integration within data center facilities.
• Develop comprehensive scopes of work based on customer needs, ensuring alignment with data center operations and objectives.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on BMS integration solutions, collaborating with Design, Sales, IT, and Operations.
• Participate in design reviews to ensure BMS integrations meet project requirements and industry best practices.
• Generate standard BMS policies, procedures, and QA measures for consistency and reliability.
• Manage contracting process, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
• Oversee implementation of BMS integrations with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders and document configurations, mappings, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Manage the data lake program and cloud-based integrations.
• Stay informed on industry trends related to data center operations, BMS, and cloud integration.
