Job summary

ProKidney Corp. seeks a Lead Facilities Technician to lead the operation and reliability of building systems at the Winston-Salem site. You will own the BMS, prioritize daily work for technicians and contractors, and coach teams, all while ensuring safe, compliant facilities operations.

The role requires extensive preventive maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems, with after-hours on-call coverage as needed. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification required.
• Five to seven years of preventive maintenance and building system experience.
• Experience leading daily work and coordinating technicians.
• Experience with Building Management System or building automation is required.
• cGMP manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the Building Management System ownership and optimize performance.
• Review alarms, trends, schedules, setpoints; coordinate actions.
• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems.
• Provide after-hours support and escalation for emergencies and outages.
• Coordinate with Facilities leadership, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and EHS.
