Job summary

The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority is seeking a skilled BMS Technician to install, repair, and maintain its electrical systems across MCCA facilities. The role requires hands-on work with building electrical infrastructure and overseeing system performance.

You will perform preventive maintenance on equipment, test panels and controls, and ensure compliance with national and state codes while supporting the Building Superintendent and E&M staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Massachusetts electrician’s license is required.
• Minimum 4 years of related work experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain building electrical systems across MCCA facilities.
• Inspect electrical panels, motors, transformers, HVAC controls, fire alarm systems, and MCC centers.
• Identify and replace faulty wiring and components as needed."
• Travel between MCCA facilities for repairs and installations.
• Perform work per safety procedures and national/state electrical codes.
• Assist E&M staff with troubleshooting, maintenance, replacement, and installation.
