Massachusetts Convention Center Authority in Massachusetts is seeking a licensed electrician to install, repair, and maintain electrical systems across MCCA facilities, including exhibit halls. You will supply and monitor electrical service and perform preventative maintenance.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 4 years of related experience, and a Massachusetts electrician's license; experience with fire alarm and CCTV systems preferred; willingness to travel between facilities.

Installs repairs and maintains the Authority’s electrically operated equipment and components, including the building electrical systems. To supply and monitor electrical service to the exhibit halls in the MCCA facilities. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and install new fixtures and equipment by performing the following:

Supervision is provided by the Building Superintendentand/or their designee and includes assignment of duties, inspection of work, training, coaching, and performance evaluation.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 4 years related work experience and/or training must possess ability to work independently. Must possess a state of Massachusetts certified electrician's license. Preferred experience on fire alarm systems and service.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Other Requirements: The ability to travel away from home for a few days at a time may be necessary
The work schedule for this position typically fluctuates based upon the needs of a particular event or project, which would require the ability to work a flexible schedule including late nights, early mornings, long days, weekends and holidays. Travel to other MCCA facilities may be required.
