JSET Automated Technologies is seeking a Controls Programmer to develop, implement, troubleshoot, and support industrial and building automation systems across the Sterling, VA area.

This hands-on role blends software development with field commissioning, startup support, and real-world troubleshooting. You will collaborate with field technicians, engineers, and commissioning teams to bring complex automation systems online successfully.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience programming industrial automation, building automation, or control systems.
• Experience with Niagara (Tridium), Ignition, PLC-based automation, or Rockwell preferred.
• Strong understanding of control sequences and system operation.

Responsibilities

• Program, configure, and troubleshoot DDC controllers and PLC-based systems.
• Develop control logic, sequences, alarms, trends, schedules, and point databases.
• Create HMI graphics, dashboards, and operator interfaces.
