Job summary

Goldbelt Apex, part of the Healthcare Technology Transformation Group, seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician to inspect, calibrate, diagnose, maintain, and repair medical and support equipment. The role emphasizes OEM guidance, DoD instructions, and safety compliance within healthcare settings.

Applicants should have an Associate’s degree and DoD biomedical maintenance training, plus experience with lifecycle management and documentation. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required and DoD biomedical maintenance training completed.
• Experience with inspection, calibration, diagnostics, and repair of medical equipment.
• Ability to follow OEM guidance, safety guidelines, and DoD instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair of biomedical equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctions and coordinate services with vendors when needed.
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation of actions taken.
• Assist in installation and configuration of new biomedical equipment.
• Manage life cycle aspects and procurement support for equipment and parts.
• Ensure compliance with OEM guidance, AFI, regulations and unit directives.
• Travel as required; perform other duties as assigned.
