Goldbelt Apex, part of the Healthcare Technology Transformation Group, seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) in Fairfield, CA to inspect, calibrate, diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of medical and non-medical equipment. You will ensure compliance with OEM guidance, DoD instructions, and safety standards while maintaining service records and supporting lifecycle management.

The role requires an Associate's degree (Planmeca course within 12 months) and 4+ years of hands-on

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher required for entry
• Must complete DoD Biomedical Maintenance Course or approved civilian course
• Must complete Planmeca digital dental course within 12 months
• 4+ years of field experience in inspection, calibration, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment
• Must pass client background screening for security clearance
• Travel may be required

Responsabilités

• Follow OEM guidance, AFI, regulations and unit direction
• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and calibration of biomedical equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions and coordinate vendor service as needed
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation
• Assist with installation and configuration of new equipment
• Manage life cycle, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of medical and non-medical equipment
• Prepare requisitions for parts and provide training requirements
