Goldbelt Apex in the United States is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) to inspect, calibrate, diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of biomedical and support equipment. The role requires following OEM guidance, DoD instructions, and unit directives to ensure equipment reliability and readiness.

Candidates should have an Associate’s degree and DoD Biomedical Maintenance training with at least 4 years of field experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• Must have graduated from the DoD Biomedical Maintenance Course or an accredited civilian Biomedical Maintenance Course.
• Minimum 4 years of field experience performing inspections, calibrations, diagnostics and maintenance on medical equipment.

Responsabilités

• Follow OEM guidance, AFI, regulations and unit direction.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and calibration of biomedical equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in medical devices and coordinate with vendors when needed.
• Maintain detailed service records of repairs and maintenance actions.
• Assist in installation and configuration of new biomedical equipment.
• Manage life cycle, diagnostics, maintenance and repair of medical and non-medical equipment.
• Prepare support documentation and parts purchase requisitions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
