Job summary

Goldbelt Apex, LLC is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) to perform inspections, calibrations, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a broad range of medical and support equipment. You will ensure OEM guidance, DoD instructions, and regulations are followed to maintain equipment reliability and readiness.

The role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established procedures within a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a basic understanding of biomedical equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems related to medical devices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical manuals and safety guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Must follow original equipment manufacturer guidance, AFI, regulations and unit direction.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and calibration of biomedical equipment to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in medical devices, performing necessary repairs or coordinating with vendors for service when required.
• Maintain detailed service records, documenting repairs, maintenance actions, and performance evaluations.
• Assist in the installation and configuration of new biomedical equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
