You will perform preventive maintenance, electrical safety testing, manage service records, and coordinate with vendors, while training others and contributing to equipment life-cycle management.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of biomedical equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems related to medical devices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical manuals and safety guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Effective communication skills to provide technical support and document service activities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure biomedical equipment complies with Federal, State, and regulatory requirements; maintain budgets and vendor relationships.
• Repair, install, maintain, calibrate, and inspect complex medical equipment and systems.
• Assign routine repairs and inspections to subordinates and monitor performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and electrical safety testing of clinical equipment; coordinate with outside vendors as needed.
