Vactor Mfg. is seeking a 2nd shift Assembler with weld in Streator, IL. Responsibilities include assembling and welding components to drawings and verbal instructions while performing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical tasks.

The role requires reading blueprints and schematics, passing a Mig weld test, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Overtime may be required. On-site work at Vactor Mfg., a unit of Federal Signal Corporation.

Competenze

• Minimum of 2 years mechanical assembly experience with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Must read blueprints, hydraulic schematics, diagrams and build tickets.
• Must pass Mig welding test.
• Ability to operate overhead crane, hoist and air/electric hand tools.
• Able to work in prolonged postures and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Climb ladders.
