Job summary

Vactor Mfg is seeking a 2nd shift assembler with weld capability in Streator, IL. The role requires assembling and welding components per drawings, plus electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical work to support production.

Candidates should have 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and be able to pass a MIG welding test. Overtime may be required, with a high emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years mechanical assembly experience with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Must be able to read blueprints, hydraulic schematics, diagrams, and build tickets.
• Must be able to pass a Mig welding test.

Responsibilities

• Assemble & weld components and sub-assemblies per drawings and verbal instructions.
• Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical applications.
• Maintain a clean, safe workplace.
• Overtime commitment when needed.
