Qualifications

• Must read blueprints and verify dimensions.
• Proficient with tape measure and hand tools.
• Willing to pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Learn to analyze blueprints, verify dimensions, and build projects without supervision.
• Assure the accuracy of finished parts by comparing them to the main samples.
• Request Supervisor/QA verification of all dimensions prior to final welding out.
• Weld parts in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead directions.
• Set up and shut down welding equipment and prepare parts for welding.
• Arrange and verify welding parts/materials per blueprint prior to assembly.
• Assemble and tack-weld components using appropriate equipment.
• Maintain safe welding practices and follow ACS safety standards.
