Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with hand tools and forklift operation.
• Understanding of mechanical systems and safe work practices.
• Associate's degree or technical certification in mechanical field (preferred).
• Experience or certification operating overhead cranes (preferred).
• Familiarity with mechanical fitting in a manufacturing environment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to assemble mechanical components using hand tools and torque wrenches.
• Utilize forklifts, overhead cranes, and material handling equipment to transport components.
• Perform mechanical troubleshooting and document corrective actions.
• Collaborate with team to solve production challenges and meet daily targets.
• Assist with basic maintenance and support engineering or electrical teams.
• Maintain accurate production records of parts assembled and quantities completed.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
