Job summary

Maag Gala Industries is seeking a Fabricator to set up, operate, and process metal or plastic materials. The role involves reading blueprints, measuring precisely, and distinguishing material types such as Aluminum, Steel, and Stainless Steel.

You will lift materials, inspect equipment, and operate a forklift while maintaining high safety and quality standards. The position requires strong manual skills, the ability to multitask, and a dedication to neat, organized work.

Qualifications

• Mandatory High School diploma or equivalent education (additional technical skills a plus).
• Technical training reading Blueprints.
• Operator forklift (Mandatory).
• Interpersonal skills and behavioral competencies (Mandatory).
• Willingness to learn.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and efficient in approaching tasks.
• Independent self-starter with ability to problem solve and anticipate and avoid issues.

Responsibilities

• Controls machines and processes using direct physical activity to operate machines or processes.
• Handles and moves objects using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials.
• Inspects equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of problems or defect.
• Performs physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving whole body.
• Lifts raw materials manually or using hoist.
• Measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal conversion skills.
• Ability to distinguish material types including Aluminum, Steel & Stainless Steel.
• Uses computers and computer systems to program and setup functions, enter data, or process information.
• Reads blueprints.
• Operates forklift.
• Tests, measures and adjusts machines when needed.
• Provides a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
• Ability to multitask.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Candidate must be reliable.
• Ability to use grinding tools.
• Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
