You will read prints and job travelers, set up tooling, use micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions, perform routine maintenance, and document production activity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing.
• Prior experience driving forklifts (warehouse, counterbalance, and heavy-duty style).
• Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting and precision measuring skills.
• Ability to read and interpret prints, schematics, and process documentation.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented with the ability to meet production deadlines.
• Physically able to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust metal fabrication machinery, including press brakes, roll formers, shears, and punch machines to meet production specifications.
• Read and interpret prints, schematics, and job travelers to determine proper setup and tooling.
• Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, and tape measures) to verify dimensions and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, and changeovers to maintain optimal machine performance.
• Document production activity, quality checks, and machine adjustments accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company and OSHA standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
• Participate in team problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
