Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine fabrication sequences.
• Layout and mark dimensions for projects and ensure conformity to specs.
• Plan and fabricate metal parts on level 1 machines with minimal supervision.
• Identify materials using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Maintain safe, clean working environment and comply with procedures.
• Follow work orders to completion and assist with other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints or specifications to determine fabrication sequence.

• Fabricate metal parts on level 1 machines with minimal supervision.

• Perform operator maintenance on level 1 equipment.
