Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) in Oregon seeks a Material Handler responsible for Blue Light Scanner tasks and movement/ tracking of work-in-progress inventory across departments.

You will transport parts, update inventory records, and support production needs while maintaining quality documentation and adhering to safety rules in a manufacturing environment. Training is provided, including forklift safety and MRPI/ERP systems usage.

Qualifications

• Experience on manufacturing floor or material handling preferred.
• Data entry and inventory control experience preferred.
• Basic ability to read, write and perform arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Verify and match lots with paperwork and routing before transporting.
• Enter accurate inventory and location data into tracking system.
• Move parts using hand, pallet jack, or forklift.
• Update computerized inventory control system to reflect locations.
• Complete daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory.
• Maintain neat, organized work areas.
• Follow safety rules and operate equipment safely.
