Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking a Machine Operator for the Newark area to operate blow-mold, PET, and injection molding equipment and support the production line. The role involves monitoring equipment, performing minor maintenance, and ensuring products meet quality standards.

The position requires basic math and computer skills, with blow mold experience preferred. Qualification includes a high school diploma or GED, and training within 90 days of hire. Overtime is available as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate blow-mold/PET/injection molding machines to ensure production of quality bottles.
• Troubleshoot process problems and perform minor maintenance to keep lines running.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and safety policies at all times.
• Prepare and document daily production reports, including rejects and line efficiencies.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to quality procedures.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by supervision.
