Job summary

Jobot seeks Blow Mold Machine Operators in Leominster, MA to set up, operate, and monitor extrusion blow molding equipment for high-quality plastic products. You will perform changeovers, inspect outputs, troubleshoot minor issues, and document processes in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating blow molding, extrusion blow molding, or other plastic manufacturing equipment.

• Willingness to work OT and weekends as production demands require.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion blow molding machines to produce high-quality plastic products.
• Perform mold, color, and material changeovers with minimal downtime.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust processes to meet quality targets.
• Inspect finished products with gauges and visual quality checks.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate larger repairs when needed.
• Load raw materials and ensure proper resin handling procedures.
• Complete production documentation and downtime reporting accurately.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment following OSHA procedures.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to maximize efficiency and minimize scrap.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion blow molding machines to produce high-quality plastic products
• Perform mold, color, and material changeovers while minimizing downtime
• Monitor machine performance and make process adjustments to maintain quality and production targets
• Inspect finished products using gauges, measuring tools, and visual quality standards
• Troubleshoot minor machine, process, and material issues and elevate larger repairs to maintenance when necessary
• Load raw materials and ensure proper resin handling procedures are followed
• Complete production documentation, quality checks, and downtime reporting accurately
• Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance tasks
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all OSHA and company safety procedures
• Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to maximize efficiency and minimize scrap

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience operating blow molding, injection molding, or other plastic manufacturing equipment preferred
• Experience with extrusion blow molding equipment is highly preferred
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and troubleshoot basic equipment issues
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products
• Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and quality documentation
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout a 10-12 hour shift
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as production demands require
• Forklift experience is a plus, but not required
• High school diploma or GED preferred

We're seeking Blow Mold Machine Operators for our 1st or 2nd shift to support daily production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring blow molding equipment, performing quality inspections, troubleshooting minor machine issues, completing product changeovers, and ensuring production goals are met while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
