Job summary

Meadow Gold Dairy is seeking a Blown Mold Operator in Colorado to monitor, operate, and troubleshoot blowmold equipment. You will train others, maintain safety, and document SOP-compliant data while working with multiple departments to maintain efficiency.

Compensation includes a beginning pay and a raise to $29.80 within the first year, with union pension, healthcare, and opportunities for growth. This is a full-time, on-site role with flexible hours including overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to perform basic math with measurements.
• Pass pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
• Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor conveyor lines for damaged bottles.
• Operate bagger and debagger stations.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs of blowmold equipment.
• Train others on blowmold operations.
• Maintain open communication with other departments to notify of problems and concerns that may restrict efficiency.
• Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOPs.
• Analyze process data and equipment performance to improve quality and throughput.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes.
• Report any food safety and food quality issues to management immediately.
• Maintain safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Meadow Gold Dairy has immediate job openings for well-versed Blow Mold Operatorsto perform an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues. Machine operators will be responsible for processing finished or raw materials, while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and communicating effectively with all departments and meeting daily deadlines.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor conveyor lines for damaged bottles
• Operate bagger and debagger stations

• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to be able to work in a wet environment
• May have some exposure to dust, fumes and cleaning chemicals
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays
