Job summary

American Red Cross in the Charleston area is seeking a customer-focused driver to operate an ARC vehicle, pick up and deliver blood products and lightweight materials on an assigned route or as needed.

This role also involves loading duties and ensures safety and care during transport. The position requires a high school diploma, valid license, and a cooperative team mindset. Monday–Friday evenings, with on-call overnight and weekends, offers $16.00 per hour plus shift differentials and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Valid driver\'s license and clean DMV record required.

Responsibilities

• Drive an American Red Cross vehicle to pick up, deliver and properly store products and other lightweight materials on an assigned route or as needed.
• Perform additional transport or loading duties to support ARC Blood Services.
• Interact with customers in a positive, proactive, and courteous manner while ensuring safety and compliance.
