Job summary

The American Red Cross in Madison, WI is seeking a Distribution Technician to receive, process, pack and ship blood products for hospital orders. You will triage orders by deadline and ensure proper temperature-controlled packaging, while maintaining traceable product records.

You will interact with hospital clients, volunteers and vendors, provide reliable on-time service, and may make hospital deliveries as assigned.

Qualifications

• Good computer skills, attention to detail and accurate documentation are required.
• Decision-making skills are important for handling time-sensitive shipments.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory management throughout manufacturing and shipping processes.
• Prioritize workload to meet production and customer requirements.
