Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Blood Product Distribution Technician in Denver to receive, process, pack, and ship blood products for hospital orders. You will triage orders by time, select and carefully pack products at the correct temperature to ensure safe transport and maintain traceable product records.

You will communicate with hospital clients, volunteers, and vendors, while supporting a team and showing up for shifts with a strong sense of care and accountability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two years' experience in a regulatory, distribution or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Good computer skills and ability to learn multiple software programs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure blood products are suitable for release for distribution and meet production goals.
• Perform inventory management throughout manufacturing and shipping processes.
• Prioritize workload to meet production and customer requirements.
• Enter data related to manufacturing, labeling, storage, ordering and shipping; maintain accurate records.
• Analyze information to meet time requirements and quality standards.
• Identify and quarantine products that don't meet quality requirements and disposition.
• May make hospital deliveries as assigned.
• May require a variable schedule including weekends and holidays.
