Job summary

LifeShare Blood Center seeks an enthusiastic Blood Donor Recruitment Coordinator to support logistics and administration for maximizing blood collection opportunities. You will attend drives and events to educate the public on donation, assist in marketing materials, and schedule events using community calendars.

Travel throughout the surrounding area is required with reliable transportation. The ideal candidate has office experience and a passion for community service, with strong communication

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior office experience preferred.
• Ability to use a computer to retrieve or record donor information.
• Good verbal communication skills and telephone etiquette.
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to work with little supervision.
• Positive approach toward donors, drive chairpersons and the community.
• Ability to learn and utilize MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Maintain confidentiality of Company and donor information.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Attend blood drives and community events to educate the public about blood donation.
• Assist in preparing and distributing marketing print materials.
• Maintain inventory of promotional items for drives and events.
• Coordinate blood drives by referencing monthly event calendars from community groups.
