Job summary

The American Red Cross in Missoula, Montana is seeking individuals to join our blood collection team. No prior medical experience required; paid phlebotomy training is provided to help you start a career in healthcare.

You will assist with blood collection, transport and setup of equipment, and create a welcoming environment for donors, following safety procedures to ensure lifesaving blood donations reach hospitals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• A valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Take the time to personally connect with donors - listen to their stories and help them understand how impactful their donation is.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming and friendly environment so donors feel comfortable returning.
• Be detailed oriented to ensure collected blood meets goals and regulatory requirements.
• May drive Red Cross vehicles and assist with setup/teardown at donation sites.
