Job summary

Versiti, Inc. is seeking a qualified technician to prepare quality biological blood components under regulatory and departmental procedures, contributing to patient care and life-saving therapies.

Under the direction of department leadership, you will manufacture RBCs, plasma products and other cellular products, perform QC checks, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet production goals and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; equivalent acceptable.
• Less than 1 year to 1 year of related experience or training.
• Ability to read, interpret and write documents and procedures.
• Aptitude for computers and data entry; detail oriented.
• Flexible to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manufactures Red Blood Cells, Fresh Frozen Plasma and other products.
• Performs leukoreduction and processes in accordance with SOPs.
• Labels products to meet regulatory and inventory requirements.
• Maintains documentation and QC checks; supports production goals.
• Works weekend, holiday rotations and on-call as needed.
• Adheres to safety policies and company standards.
