Versiti in Illinois seeks a manufacturing professional to prepare quality blood components in a regulated environment. You will produce RBCs, plasma products and related components following SOPs and department procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Equivalent qualification acceptable

Responsibilities

• Manufactures Red Blood Cells, Fresh Frozen Plasma and Recovered Plasma
• Manufactures Neonatal RBCs and related products
• Performs leukoreduction of Whole Bloods and RBCs
• Labels products to meet regulatory and inventory requirements
• Follows procedures for proper storage of blood products
• Maintains productivity to meet department goals
• Works weekend/holiday rotations and on-call as needed
