Job summary

The American Red Cross in Philadelphia, PA is hiring a Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator to support the blood collections operation by managing supplies, kits, and equipment. This role emphasizes accuracy, customer focus, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle inventory control, prepare kits, process requisitions, and may drive blood collection vehicles as needed. Paid training provided; prior warehouse experience is welcomed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
• Ability to carry moderate weight and lift up to 75 pounds; basic dexterity to use hand/power tools and handle chemicals/solvents.

Responsibilities

• Manage blood collection equipment and supplies including boxes, labels and canteen supplies; prepare blood collection kits per directives.
• Take inventory and order supplies from the warehouse; maintain collections’ supply and equipment area.
• Fill order requisitions from mobile and fixed sites.
• Interact positively with internal and external customers.
• May drive blood collection vehicles to load/unload required supplies and equipment.
