Job summary

American Red Cross in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator to support the blood collections operation. You will manage equipment and supplies, prepare kits, and maintain inventory while providing friendly service to internal and external customers.

The role starts with a starting pay of $20.64/hour and includes a comprehensive benefits package. Flexibility to work early mornings and weekends may be required, with a 3am-11am shift in Philadelphia.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• A current, valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required.
• Ability to carry moderate weight and lift up to 75 pounds; able to reach, bend, kneel, climb, push and pull; work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Manage blood collection equipment and supplies including boxes, labels and canteen supplies.
• Prepare blood collection kits in accordance with established directives.
• Take inventory and order supplies from the warehouse, maintaining collections’ supply and equipment area.
• Interacts with internal and external customers in a positive, proactive, and customer-focused manner.
• May drive blood collection vehicles to load and unload required supplies and equipment where applicable and needed.
