Job summary

American Red Cross seeks a CDL driver to transport and set up phlebotomy equipment, while delivering excellent donor service. You will work with a team to create a welcoming environment and ensure regulatory compliance throughout the blood collection process.

Starting pay is $24.57 per hour with paid phlebotomy training and opportunities to grow within this national humanitarian organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL with Class A or B and good driving record.
• DOT certification and medical certification (1 year).
• Ability to lift and stand for long periods; irregular hours.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport blood collection equipment safely and set up/tear down sites with the team.
• Connect with donors, listen to their stories, and explain how donation helps.
• Create a welcoming environment so donors return.
• Ensure collected blood meets regulatory requirements for transfusion.
