• Clinical Laboratory Technologist (preferred)
• Technologist in Molecular Biology (preferred)
• Medical Laboratory Scientist - Med Technologist (preferred)
• Medical Technologist AAB (preferred)
• Technologist in Microbiology (preferred)
• Medical Technologist AMT (preferred)
• Specialist in Hematology (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Performs and reports waived, moderately complex, and highly complex test procedures on patient specimens per SOPs.
• Provides patient care through clinical correlation of results and rapid notification of critical values.
• Maintains major automated equipment through maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting.
• Performs calibration and quality control procedures and keeps records within parameters.
• Performs proficiency testing and reviews results with lab leaders.
• Assists in evaluation and documentation for validation of new procedures and equipment.

Education
