Qualifications

• 2+ years of software engineering with exposure to performance analysis or optimization of production infrastructure.
• Experience operating distributed systems and tuning performance.
• Proficiency in backend programming (Go preferred) and observability tooling (pprof, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Demonstrated ability to improve infrastructure efficiency through engineering optimization.
• Experience with blockchain nodes or crypto infrastructure is a plus; curious about protocol behavior under load and upgrades.
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs.

Responsibilities

• Own performance analysis and optimization across the blockchain node stack, diagnosing root causes while reducing spend.
• Build observability, health-check, and automated failover for blockchain nodes.
• Execute right-sizing across the node fleet and contribute to capacity models.
• Collaborate with protocol integration, wallet, and indexer teams to extend performance improvements.
• Support SLOs/SLIs for node services and establish measurement frameworks.
• Assist protocol upgrades and node operations with a performance-first lens.
