EY’s Digital Asset Research Center seeks a skilled developer to join a collaborative team focusing on research and assurance services for digital assets. You will work on researching blockchains, smart contracts, and assets while supporting clients in a rapidly evolving industry.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related prior work experience in application development.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management or related field.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience with the following technologies: JavaScript/TypeScript development (Node.js, Express, React, Angular).
• Ethereum, Solidity, or other protocols such as Hyperledger, Solana, etc.
• Testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, etc.
• Database technologies including NoSQL and SQL.
• Git or other version control software.
• Docker or Podman.
• DevOps and cloud providers (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience in Agile teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical writing and client presentations.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack software development including front-end and back-end.
• Create technical documentation and memos for complex digital asset topics.
• Collaborate with financial auditors to design and implement techniques to test financial statements related to digital assets.
• Solve novel technical problems and provide innovative solutions for client solutions and core product offerings.
• Keep up-to-date on leading practices in this fast-growing area and identify where new practices can be applied.
