EY is seeking a Digital Asset Research Center software professional to build tools and methodologies for assurance services around digital assets. You will research public blockchains, smart contracts, and digital assets while working with auditors and technologists to deliver client solutions.

The role involves collaboration across regions, exposure to innovative workloads, and contributions to a rapidly growing team focused on US clients with global coordination.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of application development experience.
• 0+ years for the rest?
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field.
• Strong understanding of blockchain tech, smart contracts and dApps.
• Experience with Node.js/Express/React/Angular.
• Experience with Ethereum/Solidity or other protocols.
• Familiar with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha).
• Database expertise with NoSQL and SQL.
• Version control with Git.
• Container tech: Docker/Podman.
• Cloud/DevOps with Azure/AWS/GCP.
• Experience in Agile teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel and work additional hours.
• Driver’s license recommended.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack software development (front-end and back-end).
• Create technical documentation and memos on digital asset topics.
• Collaborate with auditors to test financial statement assertions for digital assets.
• Solve novel technical problems and propose client solutions.
• Stay updated on leading practices and apply them where relevant.
