Job summary

BRG in Washington, DC area is seeking a Blockchain Analyst to join our disputes and investigations practice. You will develop and apply blockchain analytics solutions for client projects, track and investigate virtual asset trades, and help design multi-protocol blockchain solutions.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s in CS or related field, at least one year of experience with blockchain analytics tools (Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic, Solidus) and in technology consulting and cryptography.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field; master’s degree is nice to have.
• Minimum one year experience in blockchain analysis and with blockchain analytics tools such as Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic, and Solidus.
• Minimum one year’s experience in technology consulting.
• Minimum one year’s experience in cryptography.
• Experience in various developing applications including but not limited to SQL and Python.
• Analytical mindset and determined work ethic.
• Working understanding and experience with crypto exchanges and Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other digital assets.
• Interest in blockchain, digital assets, and cryptocurrency analysis.
• Prior experience in related digital asset development.
• Previous experience in law enforcement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; and
• Experience with Blockchain protocols

Responsibilities

• Development and applications of solutions for projects for clients
• Analysis of options for solutions to be offered to our clients
• Tracking and investigating virtual asset sales, trades, and exchanges
• Design and production of blockchain solutions not limited to a single protocol or asset category
