Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Yard Team Member in Tifton, GA to support our block plant operations. You will operate block‑making machinery, perform routine maintenance, and help ensure safety and quality on every shift.

Qualifications

• Team player with good communication skills and reliability.
• Must be physically able to perform duties in varying weather.
• High school diploma or equivalent is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate block‑making machinery safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Perform daily cleaning, inspection, and maintenance of the block machine.
• Communicate equipment issues and repair needs promptly to the Plant Manager.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and general plant repairs as needed.
• Operate rolling and support equipment when required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Participate in end‑of‑shift plant cleanup activities.
